Programs
Certified Venous Access Specialist offers nationally accredited, flexible training programs, in a comfortable, professional settings. CVAS provides three different educational models and a variety of materials to prepare you for the CVAS Online Phlebotomy Exam. Review each of the models and simply choose the one that is right for you.
Hands-on Training
All our workshops are given by highly qualified and experienced instructors in their respective fields. By creating an atmosphere of active learning and hands-on participation, we produce health care professionals that are competent and knowledgeable.
We provide hands-on training in all the skills required to function as a Phlebotomy Technician in a medical office, clinic, laboratory, or hospital. You will quickly become familiar with blood collection procedures, the utilization of standard phlebotomy equipment, safety and medical ethics, and related medical terminology. Upon completion graduates will receive a Certificate of Completion and will be qualified to take the CVAS Online Phlebotomy Exam.

E-Learning
Offering the flexibility of self-paced learning in the convenience of your home, the CVAS Home Study Course effectively covers the topics necessary to successfully pass the CVAS Online Phlebotomy Exam in a format the fits into a busy schedule. Modeled after a college correspondence course, the Home Study uses a systematic approach to teach you blood collection procedures, the utilization of standard phlebotomy equipment, safety and medical ethics, and related medical terminology. The courses will provide you with the same theory presented in our hands-on workshops, with an added bonus of the class being available to you to study anytime of the day or night at your own pace.
E-Certification
A career in phlebotomy requires certification and training in how to use needles, vacuum tubes, and syringes. This includes formal theoretical training and supervised practice. Recommended education covers a wide variety of subjects including genetics, immunology, blood groups, collection and storage of blood and components, donor processing, immune mechanisms, general administration, personnel administration, education and automated data processing.
After training with Certified Venous Access Specialist (CVAS), passing the CVAS Online Phlebotoy Exam, and becoming certified by CVAS. CVAS will store and verify your certification for future reference, remind you when your certification expires, and offer avenues to re-certify quickly and easily.

In some cases the training could be charged to a credit card without exceeding the spending limit. Or a part-time job could be worked in order to save enough money to pay for the career training in cash in a relatively short time.
