Picc Line Certification Workshop
The CVAS PICC Line Workshop is a 1-day, 100% hands-on program designed to teach Registered Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, Physicians, Physician Assistants, and Radiologists how to start, care for and maintain, and discontinue Peripherally Inserted Central Catheter Lines (PICC Lines). This is a basic workshop created to teach you how to perform PICC Line procedures, whether in an in-patient, out-patient, or home care setting, and without the need for advanced, alternative techniques, such as ultrasound guidance, fluoroscopy, Seldinger/Modified Seldinger Techniques, etc., as they are much more invasive, traumatic, and expensive for your patient. The Workshop takes place on either a Saturday or Sunday, and typically runs for 9 hours. All procedures and practical examinations are performed on our specially designed, clear manikins, which were created with the participant in mind, so that you may see what is actually happening inside your patient while maneuvering the catheter.
Upon successful completion of the Workshop, you will receive a national certification, as well as 18 CE Contact Hours.
